LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- All students at L.J. Alleman are safe and accounted, but police were on the campus after a threat was made against the school.

Lafayette Police Corporal Paul Mouton says they are not disclosing any other details, but they do say all students are safe and classes did resume.

It was two weeks ago that students at the school were evacuated because of a bomb threat.

Last time, a release sent to members of the media at that time from the Lafayette Parish School System said administrators were told that a student “had written on a bathroom stall’s wall that there was a ‘pressure-cooker bomb’ on the school’s campus.”
