LA State Parks – Just A Short Drive Away

Spring is upon us, and there is no better place to find a fun, affordable family getaway than one of our beautiful Louisiana State Parks. While most offer camping facilities, 17 of the 22 Louisiana state parks also offer comfortable cabins.These homes away home are ideal for family or group gatherings, sleeping between six to eight people, and some parks offer lodges for even larger groups. Louisiana State Park cabins are stocked with basic cookware, utensils, tableware, towels and linens.

I have great memories of camping in Toledo Bend with my family, and at this time of year, it's a great reminder that a vacation can be just a short drive away here in Louisiana!
