Lafayette Business Robbed Last Night

Around 9:45 last night, Lafayette Police were called out to the 4300 block of Moss Street about an armed robbery.

The clerk at the business says the suspect went in armed with a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect then left the store in a silver 4 door Dodge Intrepid and drove north on Moss Street.

The suspect was described by the clerk as being a black male about 5'5" tall, wearing a hooded sweat shirt and mask.

The clerk was not injured during the robbery.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspect to contact Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
