Lafayette COSTCO Set To Open Thursday-March 17

The much anticipated opening of COSTCO is set for this Thursday morning at 8:00am. Stockers have been busy filling the shelves with only produce and bakery items left to be displayed. Since produce and bakery items are only sold as fresh as conditions allow they will be stocked as late as possible for the opening.

COSTCO began as Price Club in a converted airplane hanger in San Diego, California in 1976. With worldwide locations, in 2015 COSTCO generated $16 billion in annual sales.

COSTCO is the anchor retailer of the Ambassador Town Center which will create 1,000 permanent job.
