Lafayette Easter Egg Hunt Lets You Give The Gift Of Life

United Blood Services is having their annual Easter Egg hunt at their donor center on Friday April 18. The hunt is sponsored by the St. Jules Knights of Columbus. The hunt begins at 10am on Friday and families are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before 10.

In addition to a fun time hunting Easter eggs, kids will have the chance to find one of two golden eggs. These golden eggs will mean a special prize to the lucky hunter that finds them. The donor center is located on Bertrand Drive.

Those wishing to donate blood while at the donor center will also have the chance to win a very special prize too. Every donor that rolls up their sleeve on Friday between the hours of 8am and 4:30 pm will have their name entered into a special drawing for an Easter Basket full of prizes.

If you'd like to donate blood you must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. A photo ID is also required.
