Storyteller Joe and his family love to help out their traveling brethren by not only giving them a place to lay their head, but helping them get the most out of their time in the area as well.

If you want to save yourself some money, though, consider this airbnb choice. Joe Paris, aka Storyteller Joe, and his family will welcome you into their yard for a nice camp-out. They live just four blocks from downtown Lafayette.

Along with the space in their yard to pitch your tent, their own bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, and living room are available to you. FREE coffee in the morning, and your pets are allowed too!

There is a service fee of $3.
