Lafayette High School Teacher Accused Of Throwing Hammer At Student

Police said they have been in contact with the teacher about the incident, which they said occurred on Friday.

The teacher will face a charge of aggravated assault, police said. He will receive a summons and will not be booked into jail, police said.

The student was not hit, and no one was injured.
