Lafayette Little League Looks To Stay Unbeaten

For the Lafayette Little League squad the trip to Waco, Texas  has been hot in a couple of different ways. The temperatures in Central Texas have been unmercifully hot, fortunately the boys from the bayou know all about playing in the heat. The other heat has been generated by some very timely hitting and more than a few long balls from the Cajun crew.

Tonight Lafayette will conclude pool play when they take on the team from Pearland Texas, or East Texas as they are known in the program. As it stands now, both Lafayette and East Texas are all but guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.  The outcome of tonight's game will determine whether Lafayette Little league will play Tuesday at 2pm or Tuesday at 5pm. Regardless, both games on Tuesday will be covered nationally on ESPN 2.
