Jonathan Carl Jarrell of Lafayette is one of three men arrested for starting the devastating wildfire in California that has caused 2,000 to flee and destroyed at least two homes.

"Jonathan Carl Jarrell, 23, was arrested Thursday along with two California men, Steven Aguirre, 21, and Clifford Henry, 22. They face charges of “unlawfully causing a fire on a structure or federal land.” Their bail has been set at $500,000.Police said Jarrell has been living in Irwindale, Calif. Aguirre is from Los Angeles, and Henry is from Glendora, the town hardest hit by the fire."

So far, over 2 1/2 square miles of forest have been burned. It's believed the 3 men were camping, and when the temperature dropped they stoked their fire, which eventually blazed out of control.
