Lafayette Named In Worldwide List Of Mispronounced Cities

As we all know, the city we know and love have been mispronounced by people who are not from here (and even by some who do live here) on numerous occasions. So much so that the city of Lafayette has made a worldwide list titled "24 Place Names You've Probably Been Mispronouncing Your Whole Life."

Among the names on the list - Bangkok, Thailand, (yes, I've been saying it wrong too), Reykjavik, Iceland, (I'd love to hear most non natives pronounce that one) and Qatar (I actually knew that one).
