The Lafayette Parish School System will be providing free meals to kids this summer.

The free meals are part of the US Department of Agriculture's Summer Meals Program. According to the LPSS website, the program provides free meals to all children during the summer vacation period.

Children between the ages of 1-18 are eligible, and no registration is needed. Walk-ins are also welcomed, as are individuals over the age of 18 who "have been determined by the State to be mentally or physically disabled and who participate in a public or nonprofit school programs established for the disabled".
