Lafayette Police Arrest A Man For Shooting Another Man In The Foot

Right around 3 o'clock this morning Lafayette Police were called out to the 400 block of Marne Street to investigate a shooting.

The 18-year-old male victim told police he was involved in an argument with the suspect.

The victim says the suspect came back later and shot him in his left foot.

The suspect fled the scene, and the victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

The alleged suspect, Demarcus Bernard of Lafayette, was later found and arrested for aggravated battery.

The investigation is ongoing.
