UPDATE -- One of two suspects believed to be responsible for robbing a card game last month has been taken into custody.

According to Cpl. Paul Mouton with the Lafayette Police Deptartment, 21-year-old Shawn Orebo was pulled over Friday night by deputies with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office.

Orebo was taken to the Lafayette Police Department for questioning, but he was not arrested for the May robbery, Mouton said.

Instead, Orebo was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on charges stemming from another May incident in which Orebo and the same accomplice attacked a restaurant employee on Ambassador Caffery Parkway as that employee was walking to his car. The pair forced him to re-open the business, Mouton said.

The suspects fled the business when the alarm was activated, and the victim received minor injuries, Mouton said.

Police are still trying to identify the person wearing the white shirt in the above photo, but Mouton said investigators believe he is involved in both incidents.
