Lafayette Police Searching For Driver Involved In Crash

State police are looking for a driver who crashed his truck in a Lafayette Parish field.

The crash took place just after midnight near the corner of LA 733 and LA 92.

Police say the driver knocked down a road sign when he jumped the curb at the intersection.

The driver fled the scene on foot and remains at large.
