Lafayette Residents Recall Grand Theater Shooting On 2nd Anniversary [Video]

Today, July 23rd, marks the 2nd anniversary of the tragic shooting at the Grand Theater in Lafayette. Eleven people were shot. Two of the shooting victims, 21-year-old Mayci Breaux and 31-year-old Jillian Johnson died as a result. Yesterday UL's history department hosted their "History Harvest" at Moncus Park to give people the opportunity to talk about, and reflect on one of the darkest moments in Lafayette's history.

KATC reports the reason behind the "History Harvest" is to gather information to study how people respond to certain events.
