Lafayette Science Museum Celebrates Louisiana’s Birthday Tonight

To help celebrate Louisiana's 200th birthday, the Lafayette Science Museum and Planetarium will open a special bicentennial exhibit that officially opens with a ribbon-cutting ceremony tonight at 7:00pm. The ribbon cutting ceremony will also celebrate the opening of the museum's revamped planetarium.

The Museum has always held a special place in my heart, because when my son Sam was in High School he worked as a tour guide there- I love it to this day! Bring the family out and celebrate Louisiana's 200th birthday, ya'll!

The Lafayette Science Museum is located at 433 Jefferson St in downtown Lafayette.
