An event is organized in Lafayette on Sunday, November 15 at 4:00 pm, in support of the victims of the events in Paris this past Friday.

Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel and Lafayette Consolidated Government joins the Consulate of France for Acadiana, CODOFIL, Alliance Française de Lafayette, Festival International de Louisiane, Festivals Acadiens et Creoles, Louisiane Acadie, Action Cadienne and Fondation Richard Guidry in organizing a gathering to show the support and solidarity of Lafayette to People and City of Paris, and all of the victims of last Friday’s deadly attacks.

The public is invited to join the event in front of Lafayette International Center, at the corner of Lee Avenue and Jefferson Street, in Downtown Lafayette. Attendees are encouraged to bring homemade signs expressing support to the People of Paris.
