Lafayette Weather – Blue Skies, Cool Temperatures
Who is ready for the gray and wet to go away? If you’re everybody then you’ll be happy to know the next several days will see Acadiana bathed in an abundance of sunshine. After record setting rainfall the past seven days we will finally get a chance to use our sunglasses in the car again.
Temperatures will be seasonable, maybe a little cooler than average, with overnight temperatures generally in the mid 30’s. Afternoon high temperatures will moderate to near 60 degrees by the weekend.
There is no rain in our forecast for the next 8 days according our grand weather guru Dave Baker. This should allow flooded areas to continue to dry out and allow property owners to complete damage assessments from the heavy rains of last few days.
