Lafayette Weather – Dense Fog Advisory

It seems as if I had to feel my way into the radio station this morning. The fog was very thick in the rural areas and just as bad when I got under the street lights. The National Weather Service has posted a Dense Fog Advisory.

Forecasters believe conditions will improve by 9am and give way to partly cloudy skies for the rest of the day. That means the weather should be perfect for a weekend full of fun things to do.

We're looking forward to sharing some time with  you at Cajun Field for the football spring game that kicks off at Noon. At Lamson park, U.L. Softball takes on South Alabama in a double header beginning at 2pm. Then tonight at 6pm the top ranked Ragin Cajun Baseball team hosts  Arkansas Little Rock. By the way the Cajuns stopped the Trojans last night by a score of 7-0. In addition to the sports activity there will be Easter Egg Hunts and fun jumps for the little Cajun fans too. It's a big Three for All event hosted by Ragin Cajun Athletics

Sunday looks to be a very  nice day too. Partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the upper 70's should give you the chance to catch up on your lawn and garden chores before the rains move in on Monday.
