Leona Helmsley’s Millionaire Dog Dies

The Maltese that inherited Leona Helmsley's fortune has passed away. Actually the 12-year-old dog named "Trouble" bit the dust in December but the family is just getting around to telling the rest of the world.

You may remember that when the hotel magnate passed away in 2007, she left $12 million to her pooch. A judge later trimmed that request to $2 million.

No word as to how much money is left in the trust. I'm sure that little doggie had a sweet life!
