As someone who has been on the air live with children and animals I know that things can go wrong in a hurry. It's not that kids  are bad guests on the show, it's just their filters are completely wide open and they don't mind being brutally honest with you.

Animals now that is a horse of a totally different color. Animals know no shame and they are just doing their thing and if it happens to get in the way of your thing, they really don't care. For example, here on a TV live in Dallas it is the standard zoo piece. They bring a guy in from the zoo and he talks about the animals they have and brings a few along for show and tell. That is when the hilarity breaks loose as you will see.
