Several local families have graciously donated their collection of Department 56, The North Pole Series, to create holiday villages that make up a miniature winter wonderland in the Cypress Gallery of The Children's Museum of Acadiana.

Dr. Patricia Cran, Dr. Ronald Daigle and the family of Mrs. Geraldine Patin Broussard contributed their collections this year to the ones previously donated by Ann and David Calhoun, the Hutchinson Family and the Gonsulin family. Together, this beautiful display makes up one of the largest in the South!

When children and their families visit and take a tour of this marvelous tour of "Candy Cane Lane," they can also stop at Imagination Station, an interactive exhibit that allows visitors to become one of Santa's elves or their favorite Christmas character. They can build snowmen or just play with their friends.

Candy Cane Lane doesn't close with the end of the Christmas season. It's truly a winter wonderland and will continue through the month of February. A walk through and play in Imagination Station is included with your museum admission of $7. The Children's Museum of Acadiana is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am-5pm.
