Local Music Store Owner Raymond Goodrich Dead at 69

Local businessman Raymond Joseph Goodrich passed away on Friday at the age of 69. Mr. Goodrich owned Lafayette Music Company on Johnston Street.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home (Bertrand Drive in Lafayette) on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service.

Goodrich has been with Lafayette Music Company since 1965, working his way up to the top and eventually purchasing the business along with his wife, Karen, in 1977.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and one daughter.
