Local Soda ‘Swamp Pop’ Is All Over New ‘Cloverfield’ Trailer [Watch]

Swamp Pop is a locally brewed soda that appears all over the trailer for the new movie from producer J.J. Abrams, 10 Cloverfield Lane.

Take this story with a grain of salt, as it came from a third party.

I was told was that about a little over a year ago, the owners of Swamp Pop, Collin Cormier and John Petersen, were contacted, and asked if their product could be featured in an independent movie that was being filmed in New Orleans.

After they agreed, they sent over a couple of cases of their soda, along with the artwork for the bottles, and such.

Cut to January 15th, 2016, and the trailer for the "blood relative" to Cloverfield movie 10 Cloverfield Lane was released. As it turns out, this is indeed the movie that asked them for their product!

The entire trailer takes place in, what appears to be, an underground bunker. The only thing seen around the bunker that the three people there seem to be drinking is Swamp Pop.
