Most of us know Louis Michot as the fiddler and front man for the Grammy nominated Lost Bayou Ramblers, but who knew he could also build his own home....like, actually BUILD it?! The New York Times has taken notice, and there is an excellent article that features not only Louis and the Ramblers, but his beautiful Arnaudville home as well. The Times says "Their home today is like a piece of folk art that also happens to have air-conditioning and Wi-Fi." Very impressive, Louis!

We love it when our local musicians get noticed by the world, whether it's for their awesome music,or....building their own cajun abode.
