Louisiana Woman Accused Of Stealing Over $12,000 From Children’s Baseball League
She might be the worst kind of person.
Renee Serigny, a 35-year-old Galliano woman, was booked on two counts of felony theft for stealing $12,582 from the Golden Meadow Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken league’s account, where she served as a board member.
The league’s board of directors contacted police on May 20th after noticing improper financial records.
Serigny confessed to using the money for personal matters. She was released on $4,000 bail.
