For the past ten or twenty years listeners to 97.3 The Dawg have heard his warm and wise voice coming through their speakers each weekday morning at 5:40 AM. The warm and wise voice belongs to Don Molino. He is a gentleman's gentleman and a broadcasters' broadcaster.

Our friend Don Molino was honored over the weekend by the National Association of Farm Broadcasters. Molino was recognized as the National Farm Broadcaster of the year. An honor that I know would never admit that he deserved but is beyond grateful and gracious in accepting.

Last year Don was honored with a lifetime achievement award by his peers at the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters. So, Don is no stranger to accolades for a job well done.

Don has been in the business of broadcasting the news of agriculture for more than 30 years. He not only knows the movers and shakers in the world of agri-business from top to bottom, but he's also taken the time to get to know the backbone of Louisiana's agricultural industry, that's our Louisiana farm families.

Although Don technically works for The Voice of Louisiana Agriculture Radio Network out of Baton Rouge, we proudly claim his as one of our own. Congratulations my friend on behalf of your 97.3 The Dawg family, we are honored to share the air with you.
