When you're the opposing team and you tee it up to play LSU in Tiger Stadium you know you're in a hostile environment.  LSU fans are known for being loud and being intelligent. Well most of the fans are known for being intelligent. Leave it to a few jackwagons to spoil the atmosphere of a great college football game and embarrass us all.

There is very little love lost between LSU Nation and Alabama Coach Nick Saban. Saban once adored by the LSU faithful is now vilified as the face of evil in college football. I say face of evil with my tongue firmly in my cheek. While many people no longer support Coach Saban in his current role there is a lot of respect for what the man has done. That's why it is so disheartening to hear that some LSU fans created a very crude chant and shouted it in the  direction of the coach Saturday night.

The action was such an embarrassment to LSU that Athletic Director Joe Aleeva felt it necessary to issue an apology. He went on to say that if such behavior occurs in Tiger Stadium again those fans will be sought out and removed.

LSU Coach Les Miles was made aware of the chant after the game and expressed his disappointment in that small group of Tiger fans. LSU is on the road Saturday in Fayetteville Arkansas to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. Kick off for that game is at 7pm. Television coverage will be on ESPN 2.
