We all know it's a violation of NCAA rules to sell your college football or sports equipment if you are a player. And one big time LSU Tigers fan knows that, and was arrested for his loyalty. 25 year old Fletcher Sanders of Baton Rouge sold a pair of gloves and game worn cleats from the LSU win over Old Miss in October on eBay. Baton Rouge police wanted to know which player the items were from, and when Sanders refused to spill the beans, he was arrested. He was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish prison for refusing to cooperate, and was released earlier this week on $3,000 bail. Yikes! I applaud Mr. Sanders loyalty, but this DOES seem a little excessive - just sayin'. Hope the player that he was selling the merchandise for steps forward and does the right thing.
