A couple of weekends ago, LSU had a tough game against the University Of Wisconsin. In the final minute of the game, Wisconsin's D'cota Dixon intercepted a pass to button up the win over LSU. As he was running on the field in celebration, out of nowhere LSU's Josh Boutte leveled Dixon with a hit that got him ejected from the game. Athletesinaction.org reports that Boutte called Dixon to apologize for the hit and explain to him why it happened. Pretty darn classy.

Dixon tells Athletesinaction.org -

He apologized, he told me he didn’t think that I was down. He sounded very concerned. He was asking about my head and everything else. We actually ended up praying together. I prayed for him.

I'm pretty happy to see this. I truly believe Boutte thought it was a live play at the time. I know I thought it was a live play. Pretty great to see he was concerned enough to call Dixon to check on him and apologize. And, props to Dixon for being so understanding and forgiving.

Well done guys.
