LSU head coach Ed Orgeron shared the latest injury status on several of his best players today on an SEC teleconference coaches call.

"It doesn't look like Leonard (Fournette) is going to play (this Saturday at Florida); we don't know yet," Orgeron said noted. "He hasn't practiced yet (this week)."

Fournette, LSU's starting running back, is undoubtedly one of the best players in the country. While the Tigers have a superb backup at the position in Derrius Guice, who rushed for 163 yards in last week's win over Missouri, Fournette's presence in the lineup would improve their chances versus the #18 Florida Gators this Saturday.

While Orgeron isn't 100% about Fournette missing the game, starting guard Will Clapp will.

"I do believe Will's going to be out for the next couple of weeks, and that Foster Moreau will be out this week, but I'm not sure," explained Orgeron.

Moreau is the second tight end on LSU's depth chart, occasionally starting when LSU begins the game in a two tight end set. He played 26 snaps in last week's win.

Clapp is dealing with an injured right shoulder, while Fournette has dealt with knee and ankle injuries this season.

LSU (3-2, 2-1) travels to Gainesville for an 11am matchup this Saturday against #18 Florida (4-1, 2-1).
