M.C. Bank On Verot Robbed

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is working on finding the person responsible for robbing the M.C. Bank on Verot School Road yesterday afternoon around 4:40 p.m.

The suspect walked into the bank, placed his note demanding case on the counter, and then he ran away from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man was seen running towards the 200 block of Verot School Road.

The suspect is described as a black male that is about six feet tall. He was wearing Khaki pants, sunglasses and black leather cap.

Deputies are asking anyone with information about the suspect to call the Sheriff''s Office at 236-5632 or 236-5895.
