It's amazing what teenagers can do, and Hopefest 2013 is a testament to that fact! Hopefest 2013 is put on by the students at St Thomas More High School, and will be held Saturday April 20 at Parc International in downtown Lafayette from noon - 7pm. It is an event that will help to raise money for the St. Bernadette Clinic and the St. Thomas More Options Students - a really really worthy cause.

The food and music are always great, and this year's entertainment will feature Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin' Cajuns, and Lafayette's own MacKenzie Bourg. A 5K run will also kick off the festivities Saturday morning, and local businesses are offering deals with proceeds to benefit Hopefest. Now that's what I call community spirit!

Check out the schedule of events, and make plans to come out for a really fun event for a great cause this Saturday!
