Man Accidentally Shoots Self and Wife at Gun Safety Class

.45 Caliber Handgun
Amazon

That title just about says it all. Definitely a “What Were They Smoking?” worthy story.

A Virginia husband and wife are recovering after the hubby accidentally shot himself with a .45-caliber handgun during a firearms safety course. The bullet passed through the guy’s hand and hit his wife, who was sitting nearby, in the leg. Now that’s killing two birds with one stone!

Micheal Deel, 54, and Michelle Deel, 49, were taken to a local hospital but their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

By the way, the instructor had stepped out of the room for just a minute. Bet that’s the last time he leaves kids alone with loaded guns!
