Louisiana Man Named Jack Daniels Names His Son Jim Beam

A man from Gray, Louisiana named Jack Daniels has a son named...wait for it...Jim Beam!  It's a house of whiskey and bourbon!

31-year-old Jack said he and his 23-year-old wife, Lydia Leathers, chose the name well before their marriage.

He tells the Houma Courier that they talked about baby names on their first date and thought that Jim Beam would be a good one.

Jim Beam Leathers was born on November 14.

Evidentally, the liquor-inspired names is a family thing. Jack says his parents named him to upset their parents.

As for the Leathers couple, they plan to continue the alcohol names. They say if they have another boy he will be named Evan Williams, after the bourbon, while a girl would be named Sherry.

To top it all off, the officiant at the Leathers wedding was Terrebonne Parish judge Johnny Walker!
