Man Robbed At Lafayette Car Wash

Lafayette Police need your help trying to catch a man accused of robbing another man at a Kaliste Saloom Car Wash Sunday night.

LPD Spokesman Corporal Paul Mouton says the suspect, described as a black male, about 5'9," medium build, approached the victim from behind, armed with a handgun, and demanded money from him. Corporal Mouton says the suspect reached into the victim's vehicle and stole a small amount of change.

The victim was not injured; the suspect was last seen running towards an apartment complex in a hooded jacket and tan pants. If you have any information, call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at (337) 232-TIPS.
