Man Turns Amputated Leg Into Lamp, Tries to Sell It On eBay
53-year-old Leo Bonten of the Netherlands had to have his leg amputated back in June because of a bad infection after breaking his leg in a kiddie pool two years ago.
Oh, what to do with the stump? What to do???
How about turn it into a lamp and try to sell it on eBay for $80,000 to help pay for medical bills!
Yeah, that's exactly what Leo tried to do. First, he had a doctor preserve it. Then he got a light designer to turn it into a lamp by fixing it in formaldehyde inside a large cylindrical container.
He won't get a buyer for it on eBay because they ban the sale of body parts. Now he's stuck trying to sell it on his own.
Good luck with all that, Leo.
