Man Waving A Machete Arrested In Front Of New Orleans City Hall [Video]

Thankfully a pretty dangerous situation ended without incident today when authorities were called about a man ranting and waiving a machete in front of New Orleans City Hall.

WWL-TV reports Louisiana State Police were called today around 3 p.m. about a man who was waving around a machete and yelling.

According to Louisiana State Police, an officer "tased the man to disarm him of the machete and he was then taken into custody."

As of now there is no information about why the man was waving a machete. He was arrested for aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
