Mardi Gras DAWGS

It's Mardi Gras time, and one of the most anticipated events in Acadiana is the Krewe Des Chiens' Parade and People Ball. Krewe des Chiens is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness of pet overpopulation and to promote spaying/neutering. The annual parade and ball is to raise money for the care of less fortunate dogs in the Acadiana area. How awesome is that?! And the fact that you can dress your pooch up in Mardi Gras gear is just icing on the cake.

This year's theme is "Barkin' at the Ritz.", and you can attend the People Ball this Friday at Abacus on Pinhook, and join 97.3 the DAWG at the Parade for Dogs Saturday Feb 11th in downtown Lafayette. For details on both events click HERE
