New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram is coming off the heels of his best game of the season.

Ingram rushed for a team-high 146 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the LA Rams, adding a 21 yard receiving touchdown as well.

For his efforts, Ingram was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week today by the league office.

It's the first time in his career Ingram has received the honor. He's the first New Orleans running back in 10 years to take home the award.

Reggie Bush earned NFC Offensive POW honors in week 13 of 2006 during his rookie season.
