Move over television, there’s something else that’s dumbing down America — meetings.

Meetings make you dumber. It’s now been proven scientifically.

Researchers at Virginia Tech used MRIs to figure out how the brain processes things when people are in groups.

The results? People in groups had significant drops in their abilities to solve problems. And as the meeting went along, people got frustrated as meetings began to get nowhere.

And the kicker, women were more susceptible to this effect than men.
