Member of ‘Never Missed a Super Bowl Club’ Passes Away
This is just sad, sad news. Bob Cook, one of the guys featured in those great Visa credit card tv commercials for having been to every Super Bowl, has passed away. If you recall he was a huge Packers fan and didn’t make the trip this year due to being hospitalized after a blood infection and other chronic issues.
Bob Cook had been to 44 straight Super Bowls but couldn’t make to Texas to watch his beloved Green Bay Packers defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Feb. 6. Instead, Cook viewed the game from his hospital bed with his wife, who decorated his room with green and gold lights.
Even though he didn’t get to see his team win it all in person, I think it’s pretty cool that he got to see one last championship. Kinda cool huh?
