The new home stadium of the Atlanta Falcons could one day share a similar name to the home of the New Orleans Saints. According to a report in Sports Business Daily, Mercedes-Benz will acquire the naming rights to the still under construction stadium in Downtown Atlanta.

The move comes just months after the luxury car maker moved its United States headquarters to the city of Atlanta. The German automaker is expected to sign the contract on Friday, with the Falcons officially announcing the agreement Aug. 24, sources said.

Falcons officials did not respond to an e-mail requesting confirmation and the deal’s terms. Back in 2011, the automaker asked that financial details not be released after it purchased naming rights to the Superdome in New Orleans. Mercedes-Benz also owns naming rights to arenas in Shanghai and in Stuttgart, Germany.

The new Falcons stadium is set to open in 2017.
