A meth lab explosion lands one man in the hospital and another behind bars.

Captain John Babin with the Lafayette Metro Narcotics Task Force says it happened Wednesday at 417 Louveteau Road and sent John Sullivan to the hospital with burn injuries. He'll be charged with creation of a clandestine meth lab, possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia, and simple arson once he's released from the hospital. Shannon Sullivan has been charged with creation of a clandestine meth lab and possession of meth.

Captain Babin says agents located about 1 gram of meth in the home.
