Military officials have announced they have found the downed Black Hawk helicopter that crashed late Tuesday in the Florida waters and are transitioning their efforts from search and rescue to recovery operations.

Officials have not said how many of the 11 soldiers, 7 U.S. Marines from North Carolina and 4 Army National Guardsmen based out of Hammond, they have found. Names of the soldiers have not been released at this time.

Col. Monte R. Cannon, vice commander of the 96th Test Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, said they are not hopeful of finding survivors.
