Miranda Lambert Chokes Up During Performance of ‘House That Built Me’ [Video]

Last night’s “Healing in the Heartland” concert hosted by Blake Shelton in Oklahoma City was quite a touching show. A whole slew of country music’s biggest names including a few artists from other genres got together to help raise money for the devastated areas of Oklahoma affected by the May 20th tornado.

Probably the most talked about moment came when Miranda Lambert sang her emotional hit “The House That Built Me”. The song already has tons of personal meaning to Miranda. Add her ties to the people and animals affected, and it was a tough delivery for her. At one point she got so choked up that she had to stop singing.

At the end of the song, Miranda mouthed “Sorry” to the crowd, adding, “I love you Oklahoma.”
