Miranda Lambert used her appearance on CBS’ The Talk today to announce she’ll also perform live at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards on CBS.

The awards show will air Feb. 10.  “It means the world to have a nomination and perform,” she told the women of The Talk. “It’s awesome and I’m so thankful to be a part of it.”

Lambert’s For the Record received a nomination for Best Country Album. She’ll compete against Zac Brown Band (Uncaged), Hunter Hayes (Hunter Hayes), Jamey Johnson (Living for a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran) and The Time Jumpers (The Time Jumpers).Previously announced performers include the Black Keys, Fun., Mumford & Sons, Rihanna, and Taylor Swift.

Of course, we keep waiting for them to announce some performances by our Acadiana nominees, like Hunter Hayes, Wayne Toups, Steve Riley , Wilson Savoy ,Corey Ledet, Anthony Dopsie, Dwayne Dopsie and Andre Thierry. C'mon Grammys! Give our Louisiana artists some love on the live broadcast!
