The missing Boys and Girls Club 14 foot inflatable duck has been recovered and arrests have been made.

Lafayette Police Corporal Paul Mouton tells KPEL that 21-year-old Garson Cormier and 25-year-old Kyle Cormier were arrested Wednesday evening in connection with the missing duck.

Last Thursday, employees of the Walgreens at the corner of Johnston and N. College contacted police after noticing the 14 foot inflatable Boys and Girls Club duck had gone missing. Wednesday afternoon, Lafayette City Police released a screen shot of a surveillance video showing the bright yellow duck being transported in the bed of what looked like a dark four-door Chevrolet Silverado.

The two suspects have been charged with Felony theft and their bond has been set at $3000.

Mouton says more arrests are likely in the case.
