Mom On Facebook When Child Drowned

There is nothing more heart wrenching to me than hearing of the loss of a child. I literally ache inside when I hear of  a senseless loss of life involving a precious little one. This story makes my stomach hurt but I am posting it because I think it needs to be told. We sometimes get so involved in our own world that we forget about the little ones in our care. What caused this death? Facebook. That's right, a little too much computer and not enough watching the children.

Shannon Johnson, 34, was arrested January 11 on one count of child abuse by knowingly and recklessly causing a death, said Jennifer Finch, community relations director for the Weld County District Attorney's Office.

I love my cyber friends and my time online. I love my children and your children more. Deep breath everybody.
