A new season of Music & Market begins Friday, April 13, 2012 in historic Opelousas, offering entertainment and a fresh Farmer's Market each Friday through May 27th.  The event will feature Southwest Louisiana music in a unique family-friendly outdoor setting. This is one of the coolest events around, ya'll, and the lineup this spring is awesome-kicking off with Les Malfecteurs on April 13, and the featured produce of the day will be corn.

The majority of the free, outdoor, cultural events are held at Le Vieux Village/Farmer’s Market Pavilion, located at 828 East Landry St., in Opelousas.
